Pies in the Face at October Spook-o-ree

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
NewsI hope everyone had as much fun as I had this weekend. I thought this year's haunted trail was one of our best ever. And you have to admit that Wagon Wheel Lodge is a pretty cozy place to stay when it's cold outside!

***Many thanks to everyone who made this weekend such a big success!***

As you know, boys who sold at least $500 worth of popcorn got to put a pie in my face. Here are some photos from that event (be sure to click Read More to see them all).

October Spooktacular

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
NewsOur next Pack Meeting is on Saturday, October 18th, at Murstein Cabin in
Governor Bebb's park. The park is located at 1979 Bebb Park Lane (off St. Rt. 126 in Morgan Township), Okeana, Ohio 45053. From Ross, Bebb Park Lane is 9.2 miles on the Left.

You will need a Metro Park pass for your car. Daily passes are $2 and can be
purchased while you are there.

The meeting will feature games, a fire-building demonstration, a pot-luck
dinner, and a haunted trail. Parents will be needed as "monsters" for the
trail!

Activities begin at 4:30 (People spending the night can come at 4:00, Leaders
at 3).

Dinner will be pot luck and begins at 6:00. The pack will provide hot dogs
and some drinks. Everyone needs to bring something to share. Don't forget
to bring Smores fixings for the campfire!

All families are invited to spend the night. There is sleeping space for
about 17 in the cabin, and plenty of space for tents outside. I would like
to give priority to younger scouts for the cabin bunks. Older scouts, please
bring your tents. Please bring your own breakfast.

Sunday morning we will work on earning our map-and-compass belt loop.
